- 6.3×Organic traffic growth
- 140Keywords in the top 3
- −31%Customer acquisition cost
- The challenge
- A 400-page site where 60% wasn't indexed at all. The cause: service pages duplicated verbatim across twelve cities with only the city name swapped. Organic sessions had been flat at 3,000 a month for two years, with near-total reliance on Google Ads at a high cost per acquisition.
- What we did
- We consolidated the duplicated city pages into strong primary service pages, keeping city pages only where genuine search demand existed — each with unique content. We rewrote 80 service pages, repaired the internal-link architecture, and added Service and AggregateRating schema.
- The result
- Over eight months: organic sessions went from 3,000 to 19,000 a month, 140 keywords entered the top three, and blended customer acquisition cost fell 31% as a meaningful share of demand started arriving free.
Duplicate content kills sites quietly
An 'AC cleaning Riyadh' page and an 'AC cleaning Jeddah' page carrying identical text don't give you twice the opportunity — they give you two weak pages competing for the same term and splitting the ranking signals between them. Google picks one and ignores the rest, which is precisely what was happening: 60% of the site sat outside the index.
Deleting mattered more than adding
Most SEO projects open with 'let's write articles'. Here we did the opposite: we removed or merged 140 pages before writing a single new line. Cutting the weak pages lifted the site's average quality in Google's eyes and freed crawl budget for the pages that deserved it.
